Description

The Oak red crown cut is a fast-growing tree with an average height of 20-25 m and a diameter of 0.6-1.0 m. Single trees develop a dense, tower-like crown on a straight, round trunk.

The wood is a ring-shaped, light reddish-brown wood and thus differs markedly from the yellowish-brown to medium brown American white oak. The mixed use of these two woods is therefore not recommended at all for blank work.

Oak red crown cut has a wide range of applications: furniture, panelling, veneer and plywood, parquet and planks, car body construction, stairs, toys and other wood products.
